Works
Biography
Keren He’s practice explores the metaphorical nature of objects, images, and constructed value. In his paintings, familiar consumer objects and symbolic elements such as shadows and folded spaces become unstable visual metaphors, shifting between playfulness and seriousness, humor and reflection.
Through this “game of images,” He examines how value is constructed, circulated, and desired within contemporary material culture. His work reveals the illusions behind consumer goods, identity, and cultural symbols, while questioning how individuals locate themselves in a world increasingly shaped by images and constructed desires.
