The physical exhibition of the KANE Art Prize 2025 translated the awarded works from digital circulation into spatial presence. Removed from the scroll of the screen and situated within a shared environment, the works entered into a condition of proximity—where scale, texture, sound, and material weight recalibrated their meaning.
Rather than framing the exhibition around a single theme, the presentation unfolded as a constellation of inquiries. Across sculpture, installation, painting, and moving image, the artists engage with the body as threshold, memory as unstable archive, intimacy as fragile structure, and technology as both mediator and disruptor. The exhibition space became a site of negotiation—between containment and exposure, distance and encounter, permanence and erasure.
In bringing these practices together, the exhibition foregrounded relationality: not only between artworks, but between artwork and viewer, institution and artist, digital and physical realms. As part of the KANE Art Prize programme, the physical exhibition affirms K:art’s commitment to fostering critical, experimental practices that resist fixed narratives and open new perceptual frameworks.
