Description:

Volcano belongs to the Micro Cosmos series, which reflects on the idea of the human being as a microcosm mirroring the wider universe. In this work, the visual language shifts toward a playful, pop-art sensibility: a cartoon-like character appears within a vibrant, almost naïve compositional space. Hints of fiery red in the background subtly evoke the idea of volcanic energy, without becoming literal. Yet beneath the playful surface, the image remains anchored in cosmic symbolism. Planet-like forms and elemental shapes circulate through the scene, suggesting that even the lightest visual gestures are connected to the deeper architecture of the cosmos. The piece embraces ambiguity — at once humorous and contemplative — highlighting how the everyday, the emotional, and the universal continually overlap within human experience.
