About the exhibition

In a highly accelerated, fast-changing contemporary world, grand metanarratives are dissolving, and our lives are being relocated across a multitude of interstices—between institution and individual, history and memory, urban planning and forgotten zones, and the blurred borders of identity shaped by multiculturalism and digital migration.

We Meet in the Intervals approaches the interval not as a void, but as an active space of becoming: not a rupture, but a possibility for connection. We invite artists to turn their gaze toward what remains outside dominant structures—the residual glow of neglected emotions, the noise and latency within technological systems, and traces of movement that resist quantification—transforming them into a new narrative force.

May these overlooked fissures become where we meet again, speak again, and illuminate the shape of what comes next.

White Conduit Projects

White Conduit Projects is a London-based contemporary art space recognised for a tightly curated exhibition programme across diverse media, with an emphasis on thoughtful presentation and concept-led shows.

Founded in 2014, it has developed a distinctive position through its ongoing commitment to bringing Japanese artists and designers into conversation with British and international practices, creating a platform shaped by cross-cultural exchange and translation.

Its programme supports artists working with material, image, and research-driven approaches, and the space is widely viewed as a focused site for contemporary practice that values clarity, experimentation, and dialogue.
