Blue Membrane brings together three London-based, China-born Gen Z artists whose practices span installation, moving image, textile, silicone, and glass. Through material exploration, the exhibition constructs an embodied mode of sensing in which memory, space, energy, and the body overlap and resonate.

Situated in Hackney, Blue Membrane unfolds as a slow, atmospheric field shaped by digital intimacy, cultural fluidity, and lived experience. Blue appears not as clarity, but as a suspended state of perception—muted, damp, and quietly charged.

The exhibition presents a nonlinear terrain of affect, where identity remains in flux and meaning emerges through resonance rather than resolution. Viewers are invited into a shared sensory space in which boundaries soften, and subtle frequencies of connection are felt rather than defined.
